# Free Appointment workflow

## When to use this workflow

Choose **Free Appointment** for straightforward scheduling with no barriers. This workflow is ideal for businesses where anyone can book — hair salons, yoga studios, tutoring services, open consultations, or community events.

No qualification questions, no payment. The AI simply checks your availability and books a time slot.

## How the AI handles conversations

1. **Greet the customer** using your configured greeting message.
2. **Help the customer understand your services** by searching the product catalog for relevant offerings.
3. **Check your calendar** — The AI queries your Google Calendar for available time slots.
4. **Present available slots** — Available times are shown in 30-minute increments within your configured availability window.
5. **Book the appointment** — After the customer confirms a slot, the AI creates a Google Calendar event with the customer's name and contact details.
6. **Confirm the booking** — The AI sends a confirmation message to the customer with the date, time, and any relevant details.
