Connect a custom storefront domain
Add a custom hostname for your Interlinked storefront, copy its DNS records to your registrar, verify the connection, and track the security certificate.

Add the domain in Online Store
Open Online Store → Domain. If no custom domain exists, select Continue, enter the hostname you purchased, and select Continue again.
Enter only the hostname, such as shop.example.com. Do not include https:// or a path. The panel then shows the exact DNS records required for that hostname.

Copy the DNS records exactly
At your domain registrar:
- Open the domain’s DNS section.
- Create or replace each record shown by Interlinked.
- Copy the Type, Name, Value, and TTL exactly as displayed.
- Save the DNS changes.
- Return to Online Store → Domain and select Verify.
The panel provides a copy action for each value. Use the records shown for your domain rather than copying an example from another storefront.
DNS changes can take time to appear. Until the connection is verified, continue using the default public URL shown in Overview.
Read the two status lines
The Domain tab reports:
- Domain connection — whether the hostname is connected; and
- Security certificate — whether the public HTTPS certificate is active.
The goal is for both values to show active. A connected domain without an active certificate may not yet be ready for customers.
Select Verify to refresh the status. If the panel lists verification errors, compare each record with the registrar and remove conflicting records only when you understand what another website or email service uses them for.

DNS propagation and certificate timing depend on the domain provider. The statuses and records displayed for your workspace are the authoritative setup instructions.
Remove a custom domain
Select Remove and confirm the browser prompt if you no longer want the hostname associated with the storefront. The default public URL remains the safe fallback shown by the panel.
Removing the domain from Interlinked does not necessarily delete DNS records at your registrar. Clean up old records there only after confirming that they are no longer used by another service.
After activation
Open the active hostname from the storefront Overview and verify the home page, product pages, images, language, and WhatsApp action. Keep the default public URL available while you validate the custom domain. For publication state, see Preview, publish, and pause your storefront.
