Start a 7-day free trial of the Interlinked AI Pro plan — understand what is included, how billing works after the trial, and important eligibility rules before you sign up.
Overview
Interlinked AI offers a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan so you can experience the full capabilities of a paid subscription before committing financially. The trial gives you access to Pro-level features and a 10,000-message allowance, allowing you to evaluate how Interlinked AI performs for your business at higher volumes.
This article explains what the trial includes, how to activate it, what happens during the trial period, and what to expect when the trial ends.
What the Pro trial includes
During the 7-day trial period, you receive the same experience as a regular Pro subscriber:
- 10,000 included messages — Your AI agent can handle up to 10,000 conversations within the trial period
- Overage usage — If you exceed 10,000 messages during the trial, the overage behavior of paid plans applies. See Overage usage and extra messages
- Full feature access — All Pro-level features are available during the trial
This allows you to test the platform under realistic business conditions rather than being limited to the Free plan’s 500-message allowance.
How to start the trial
To activate the Pro free trial:
- Navigate to Settings → Billing at
https://panel.interlinked-ai.com/en/settings?tab=billing - Select Upgrade your plan
- Choose the Pro plan
- Complete the Stripe checkout flow
Important
A valid credit card or payment method is required to start the trial. This is a standard practice to verify your account — Interlinked AI does not charge your card during the 7-day trial period. Billing begins only if the subscription continues after the trial ends.
Why a payment method is required
Requiring a payment method during trial activation serves several purposes:
- Identity verification — It confirms that the account is associated with a real user and valid payment credentials
- Seamless transition — If you choose to continue with Pro after the trial, your subscription begins automatically without additional setup
- No surprise charges — You can cancel the subscription at any time during the trial period through the Stripe customer portal, and no charge will be made
What happens during the trial
During the 7-day trial:
- Your plan status shows as Pro in the Usage and Billing tabs
- Your included message allowance is set to 10,000 messages
- Usage is tracked normally — you can monitor it from the Usage tab
- You can access all Pro features and configure your AI agent accordingly
- No charge is made to your payment method during this period
The trial period is counted as 7 calendar days from the moment you activate it. For example, if you start the trial on Monday at 2:00 PM, it ends the following Monday at 2:00 PM.
What happens when the trial ends
When the 7-day trial period concludes, one of two things happens:
If you keep the subscription
- Billing begins automatically using the payment method you provided during activation
- Your Pro plan continues without interruption
- Usage tracking continues seamlessly from the trial into the paid subscription
- Your billing cycle starts from the trial end date
If you cancel before the trial ends
- No charge is made to your payment method
- Your account reverts to the Free plan (or your previous plan if applicable)
- Your included message allowance changes accordingly
- Any AI agent configuration you made during the trial remains, but feature access adjusts to match your active plan
To cancel before the trial ends, go to Settings → Billing → Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel the subscription.
Tip
If you are not sure whether you want to continue with Pro, set a calendar reminder for day 5 or 6 of your trial. This gives you time to evaluate your experience and decide before billing begins.
Eligibility rules
The Pro free trial has the following eligibility restrictions:
- One trial per account — Each Interlinked AI account is eligible for the Pro free trial only once. If you have already used your trial, you cannot activate another one.
- New subscribers only — The trial is available for accounts that have not previously subscribed to the Pro plan.
- Credit card required — A valid payment method must be provided during activation. Without one, the trial cannot be started.
Note
The trial eligibility is per account, not per email address or per payment method. Creating a new account to obtain a second trial is not supported and may result in account-level restrictions.
Frequently asked questions
Can I switch plans during the trial?
If you want to switch from Pro to a different paid plan (such as Starter or Ultra), you can do so from the Billing tab. However, changing plans during the trial may end the trial early and begin paid billing according to the new plan. See Upgrade, downgrade, and plan changes.
Do I get a trial for other plans?
Currently, the free trial is available only for the Pro plan. Starter and Ultra do not offer a trial period. You can start with the Free plan to test the platform at a basic level, or use the Pro trial to experience the full paid experience.
What if I cancel and later want Pro again?
If you cancel during the trial and later decide you want Pro, you can subscribe to the Pro plan at any time from the Billing tab. However, you will not receive another free trial — billing begins immediately upon subscription.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your account data, AI configuration, CRM history, and other platform data remain intact when you cancel the trial. You do not lose your setup — you simply revert to the Free plan’s feature set and message limits.
