Account information
View and understand your Interlinked AI account profile — full name, phone number, business name, and email address — and learn why certain fields cannot be edited from the Account information tab.
What is the Account information tab
The Account information tab in Settings is where you view the main personal and business details associated with your Interlinked AI account. It serves as your identity and profile reference area — the place you go to review what information Interlinked AI has on file for your account.
To access the Account information tab, navigate to Settings → Account information, or go directly to:

This tab is focused on profile identity — not billing or security. For billing details, see Billing and subscription management. For account protection, see Security and two-factor authentication.
Information displayed
The Account information tab shows the following fields:

| Full name | Your first and last name as registered on your account |
| Phone number | The phone number associated with your account |
| Business name | The name of the business linked to your workspace |
| Email address | The email used to create your account or linked through Google sign-in |

Full name
Your full name is the name that was entered when you created your Interlinked AI account or that was imported from your Google account if you signed up with Google. This name appears in various places across the platform where your identity is displayed.
Phone number
The phone number field stores the contact number associated with your account. This can be useful for account-related communications and for the Interlinked AI team to contact you if needed (for example, for Enterprise onboarding or support).
Business name
The business name is the name of the company or brand associated with your workspace. This was set during the initial onboarding process when you configured your AI agent.
To change your business name, you would typically update it through the AI Configuration wizard rather than from the Account information tab. See Company information and agent identity for details on how business information is configured.
Email address
The email address shown here is the primary email for your Interlinked AI account. It is the email used for:
- Login and authentication
- Billing notifications and invoices
- Security alerts
- Product update communications (based on your notification preferences)
Email cannot be changed from this screen
One of the most important things to understand about the Account information tab is:
Your email address cannot be changed from this screen.
Many users naturally expect the email field to be editable wherever account information is displayed. In Interlinked AI, the email is a core identifier tied to your account’s authentication method and billing relationship. Changing it requires careful handling to maintain account integrity and security.
Important
The email address displayed in Account information is read-only. If you need to update the email associated with your account, this is not the place to do it. This restriction exists to protect account security — email changes affect authentication, billing, and all communications linked to your account.
Why email changes are restricted
The email address serves multiple critical functions:
- Authentication identity — It is the unique identifier used to log in to your account. Changing it could affect your ability to sign in.
- Billing association — Your email is linked to your Stripe billing profile. Invoices, receipts, and billing communications are sent to this email.
- Security notifications — Critical security alerts (such as suspicious login attempts or 2FA changes) are delivered to this email.
- Account recovery — If you ever need to recover your account, the email on file is a key part of the verification process.
Because of these dependencies, email modifications require specific procedures beyond a simple form field edit.
Profile image
Your profile image — the picture visible in the top-right corner of the panel and on your account profile — is inherited from your Google account and cannot currently be changed from within Interlinked AI.
If you want to update the image:
- Go to your Google account settings (https://myaccount.google.com)
- Update your profile picture there
- The new image will be reflected in Interlinked AI automatically
Note
If you created your account using email and password (not Google sign-in), your profile image may show a default avatar. Profile image upload from within Interlinked AI is not currently supported.
Keeping your information accurate
Maintaining accurate account information is important for several reasons:
- Communications — Billing notifications, security alerts, and product updates are sent to the email on file. An incorrect email could mean missing important information about your account or subscription.
- Business identity — The business name displayed in your workspace should match your actual business to avoid confusion, especially if you have employees accessing the CRM or other operational features.
- Support interactions — If you contact Interlinked AI support, the team references your account information to verify your identity and assist you effectively.
Relationship with other settings tabs
The Account information tab focuses on identity — who you are and what business you represent. Other aspects of account management are handled in separate tabs:
