Create and use your partner code
Learn how to create your unique Interlinked AI partner code, understand code rules and formatting, and find out how referred customers use it to receive a discount.
What is a partner code
A partner code is a short, unique text identifier that connects a referred customer to you. When someone subscribes to a paid Interlinked AI plan and enters your code during checkout, two things happen:
- The customer receives a 10% discount on their first eligible subscription payment.
- You begin earning a 10% recurring commission on that customer’s subscription payments.
Your partner code is your personal referral link in text form. You choose it yourself as the final step of partner onboarding, and you can share it with as many people as you like.
Note
The product interface may display this as "Creator Code" in some places. Creator code and partner code refer to the same thing — your unique referral identifier.
Creating your code
After completing Stripe Connect onboarding, you are returned to Interlinked and asked to choose your partner code.

Code rules
Your partner code must follow these rules:
| Rule | Details |
|---|---|
| Allowed characters | Letters (A–Z) and numbers (0–9) only. No spaces, hyphens, or special characters. |
| Maximum length | 15 characters |
| Case | Automatically converted to uppercase. If you type agency10, it becomes AGENCY10. |
| Uniqueness | Must be unique across the entire Interlinked platform. No two partners can have the same code. |
Good code examples
Choose something short, memorable, and easy to share:
SOFIABIZAGENCY10MARIACRMSTARTUPMX
Avoid codes that are too generic (like DISCOUNT or CODE123) — they may already be taken, and they do not help people remember who referred them.
What if your code is already taken
If the code you choose is already in use by another partner, you will see an error message. Simply try a different combination. Because codes must be unique across the platform, popular or short codes may already be claimed.
Tip
Including your name, brand, or a recognizable keyword makes your code easier for people to remember and reduces the chance of it being already taken.
Saving and activating your code
After entering a valid code, click “Save and Activate Code” to finalize it. Once saved:
- Your partner account becomes active.
- The code is immediately available for customers to use during checkout.
- You are redirected to your Partner Dashboard.
How customers use your code
When a referred customer subscribes to a paid Interlinked AI plan, they can enter your partner code during the Stripe checkout flow. The code is entered in the promotional code field at checkout.
Here is how the process works from the customer’s perspective:
- The customer goes to Plans and pricing and selects a paid plan.
- During the Stripe checkout step, they enter your partner code in the promotional code or discount code field.
- Stripe validates the code and applies a 10% discount to the customer’s first eligible subscription payment.
- The customer completes checkout and pays the discounted amount.
From that point, every subscription payment the customer makes is tracked as a referral attributed to you.
Important
Each referred customer can use the partner code discount only once — on their first eligible subscription payment. The code does not provide a recurring discount to the customer. However, your commission is recurring for as long as the customer stays subscribed. See Partner commissions and payouts for details.
Sharing your code
There is no limit to how many people you can share your code with. You can promote it through:
- Social media posts
- Blog articles or content
- Direct messages to colleagues, clients, or contacts
- Email newsletters
- Presentations or webinars
Each person who subscribes using your code becomes a referred customer linked to your partner account.
Can I change my code later
Your partner code is set when you first create it. Changing your code after activation is not currently supported through self-service. If you need to change your code, contact Interlinked AI support.
