NEEDS VALIDATION

This page includes product areas with mixed maturity or conditional behavior. Verify the current UI and tenant state before using it as external operating guidance.

Customer payments and subscription billing are separate

Open Payments in Operations to choose how your customers can pay for eligible orders and services. Open Billing in Settings or the billing area to manage your Interlinked subscription, invoices, and plan.

These surfaces answer different questions:

  • Payments — How a customer pays your business and what the agent can offer during an order or service journey.
  • Billing — How your workspace pays for Interlinked.

Do not use the subscription payment method as proof that a customer order or service purchase has been paid.

Important

A payment confirmation is not the same as fulfillment. Confirm the payment state first, then follow your shipping, pickup, appointment, or service-delivery process.

Available customer methods

The Payments page currently presents:

  • Card — connected through Stripe when the workspace is eligible. The agent can send a secure payment link and confirm successful payment when the connection is ready.
  • Bank transfer — your configured account details are shared with the customer. Your team reviews the receipt before confirming the payment.

The page shows whether card is Ready, Not connected, or Setup incomplete, and whether bank transfer is Configured or Not configured. Final availability can depend on the customer journey and the connected account state.

How the agent uses payments

When card is ready, the agent can prefer it for supported shipping orders. Bank transfer can remain as a fallback. Some service deposits and pickup journeys can still require a transfer and human receipt review depending on the service configuration.

For a paid service, the service wizard also asks which methods are accepted and whether the customer pays the full fixed price or a deposit. Read Create and configure a service.

Owner and admin controls

Only an owner or administrator can change the customer payment methods. Other team members can review the current state and use the visible setup action when they have access.

For bank transfer, the account fields depend on the selected country. The panel validates country-specific formats such as Mexico’s 18-digit CLABE. Enter only the account details intended for customer payment instructions.

Continue with Configure customer payment methods, then review Payment verification and security.
