Keep the active catalog trustworthy

The best catalog is accurate, consistent, descriptive, and current. A staged import gives you a review point before a bulk change becomes active; use it instead of treating a spreadsheet upload as automatically safe.

Write for customers and the agent

  • Use clear product names rather than internal shorthand.
  • Keep descriptions concise, factual, and focused on customer decisions.
  • Add attributes such as category, size, color, material, flavor, brand, compatibility, or use case when they matter.
  • Use the same value style across products, such as one consistent way to write sizes and categories.
  • Keep prices and availability current.
  • Use unique SKUs when you rely on them for review or image matching.

Avoid unsupported medical, legal, or regulated-product claims. Products must comply with applicable laws and Interlinked’s policies.

Review after a change

Check product count, names, prices, availability, SKUs, important attributes, and media coverage. Test representative searches only after the panel finishes any visible preparation. If a product is not found, start with the Catalog row and import state before changing the agent’s instructions.
