Connect Facebook Messenger
Connect a Facebook Page to Interlinked Messenger, assign it to an agent, and prepare the page for customer conversations.
NEEDS VALIDATION
This page includes product areas with mixed maturity or conditional behavior. Verify the current UI and tenant state before using it as external operating guidance.
Before you connect
Prepare an active Facebook Page for the business and access to the Meta account that manages it. Page messaging must allow customers to contact the Page privately. If you manage several Pages, identify the exact Page that should receive conversations before starting.
Connect Messenger
- Open Channels under AI & Automation.
- Find Messenger under Communication Channels and select Connect.
- Complete the provider sign-in and authorization screens.
- Select the Facebook Page to connect.
- Return to Interlinked and confirm the account name and Active state.

Assign the Page to an agent
When the connection succeeds, use the assignment dialog to choose the agent that should respond. You can also open My Agents → [agent] → Apps and assign Messenger from there.
Only one agent can respond for a Messenger channel at a time. The agent must also be ready and active before customers receive its responses.
What happens after connection
Messages sent to the Page appear in CRM. The agent uses its published behavior and can hand a conversation to your team when needed. Review the first conversation before relying on Page messaging for a live campaign.
If the Page has its own automatic replies or greetings, check them when testing. Two systems sending separate welcome messages can create duplicate or confusing customer experiences.
If Messenger is missing or fails
Confirm the Page is active, private messaging is enabled, and the selected Meta account has the required Page access. If the provider reports a permission or Page-selection problem, follow Meta connection troubleshooting.
NEEDS VALIDATION
Page roles, provider permissions, and the available connection flow can vary by account. Use the current provider screen and Channels card as the authority.
