Create and configure a service
Use the seven-step Interlinked service wizard to define an outcome, price, payment, scheduling, questions, details, image, and activation choice.
Open the service wizard
Open Services and select New service, or open an existing service to edit it. The wizard has seven steps:
- Outcome
- Price and payment
- How it works
- Questions
- Details
- Image
- Review
The wizard saves changes when you finish. You can select Save draft or Save and activate from the review step.

1. Choose the outcome
Answer What should the customer accomplish? with one of these options:
- Book an appointment;
- Request a quote;
- Buy directly; or
- Talk to your team.
The choice adapts the following steps. A quote can use a human quote, a calculation that needs approval, or an automatic quote when the panel allows it. A direct purchase requires a known fixed price.
2. Set price and payment
Choose a pricing model such as Fixed price, Starting at, Range, Human quote, Free, or Private price. Select the currency and enter only the fields shown for that model.
For a fixed-price appointment, you can turn on Collect payment before confirming. Choose full payment or Collect a deposit only, then select the accepted Card or Bank transfer methods shown. A variable or quote-based appointment is booked without upfront payment in the current flow.
Direct purchase services require a fixed price and at least one available payment method. Final availability also depends on the payment methods connected to the workspace.
3. Define how it works
For appointments, set the duration and any preparation or after buffer. Choose one or more attendance options: In person, Google Meet, Phone, or External video. An external video option requires an HTTPS video-call URL.
Select Calendars and resources so availability is checked against the correct calendar. For in-person appointments, select an In-person location with an address and business hours.
You can also turn on Manual confirmation or Ask for customer address. Manual confirmation leaves the booking pending until your team approves it.
For quote, purchase, or handoff outcomes, the panel explains how the agent will collect information or pass the request to your team.
4. Add questions
Add only the questions required to qualify, quote, or book the service. For each question, enter the customer-facing question, mark it Required when necessary, choose its type, and add comma-separated options for selection fields.
Use a clear AI key and optional hint when the panel provides those fields. Keep questions in customer language and order them from essential identity or eligibility information to secondary details.
5–6. Add details and an image
In Details, enter the service name, short description, full description, category, tags, and whether it is Available to AI. Clear descriptions help the agent recommend the correct service without guessing.
The Image step is optional. Add a representative PNG, JPEG, or WebP cover image when the service will appear in a catalog or public page.
7. Review and save
Review the service outcome, price, payment, calendar, questions, details, and image. Select Save draft if more setup is needed. Select Save and activate only when the readiness checks are complete. Continue with Service readiness and activation.
