Upload your product catalog in the wizard
Learn how the wizard Products step works, including CSV and Excel uploads, the CSV template, immediate catalog updates, and AI search preparation.
Direct answer
The wizard Products step lets you upload a CSV or Excel product catalog that the AI agent can use to answer customer questions. The step is available to all users regardless of workflow, and it also includes a CSV template download button.
Product uploads from the wizard apply immediately to the product catalog. They are not saved as drafts and do not wait for the rest of the wizard to be published.
Important
The wizard has draft behavior for many AI configuration settings, but product catalog uploads are immediate. Replacing or clearing products affects the live catalog as soon as the action completes.
Where this step appears
You can reach the Products step in two wizard flows:
- First onboarding wizard — shown during initial setup for every user.
- AI Config wizard — go to https://panel.interlinked-ai.com/en/ai-config, click Launch wizard, then open the Products step.
For ongoing product management after setup, use the Products page at https://panel.interlinked-ai.com/en/products.

Accepted file formats
The wizard accepts:
- CSV (
.csv) for simple spreadsheet exports. - Excel (
.xlsx,.xls) for Excel-based catalogs.
If you do not already have a catalog, download the CSV template from the Products step and fill it in before uploading.
Required fields
Your catalog should include product name, price, and stock. SKU is recommended, but if it is missing, Interlinked can add or generate one automatically.
Interlinked supports flexible column names. For example, a column named Product, Item name, or Product title may be mapped as the product name when the values clearly identify each product. Similar mapping can apply to price, stock, and SKU columns.
If a required value such as stock is missing or cannot be identified for a product, the system may mark that value as 0. Review the uploaded catalog after import to confirm product names, prices, stock, and SKUs are correct.
Extra columns are recommended
Extra columns help the AI agent answer more naturally and accurately. Consider adding description, category, brand, size, color, flavor, material, tags, use cases, compatibility, care instructions, shipping notes, or return restrictions when relevant.
Products must comply with applicable laws and Interlinked’s usage policies. Do not upload illegal, restricted, or prohibited products.
After upload
After upload:
- Products appear in the Products table immediately.
- The live AI agent uses the updated product catalog.
- Interlinked prepares products for AI search, which may take a few minutes depending on catalog size and detail level.
- Very large catalogs, including catalogs with tens of thousands of products or extensive details, can take longer to prepare.
