Sign in with Google
Understand how Google sign-in works in Interlinked, including OAuth permissions, session management, and what to do if you need to switch accounts or recover access.
Why Interlinked uses Google sign-in
Interlinked uses Google as the primary authentication provider. When you sign in with Google, you benefit from:
- No extra passwords to manage — You use your existing Google credentials. There is no separate Interlinked password to create, remember, or reset.
- Industry-standard security — Google OAuth 2.0 protects your login with the same security infrastructure that protects Gmail, Google Drive, and other Google services.
- Faster access on every visit — If you are already signed into Google in your browser, logging into Interlinked takes a single click.
Note
Google sign-in is the recommended authentication method. It provides the smoothest experience and is required for features like Google Calendar integration.
How the sign-in flow works
First-time sign-in
When you click Sign Up or Log In on the Interlinked website, you are redirected to a Google OAuth consent screen. Here is what happens step by step:
- Account selection — Google shows you a list of your available Google accounts. Select the one you want to associate with your Interlinked workspace.
- Permission review — Google asks you to review the permissions Interlinked is requesting. These typically include access to your basic profile information (name and email address).
- Authorization — Click Allow to grant Interlinked access. You are redirected back to the Interlinked panel.
- Workspace creation — If this is your very first sign-in, Interlinked creates a new workspace for you and opens the onboarding wizard automatically.

Returning sign-in
If you have previously signed in and your Google session is still active in your browser, the process is even faster:
- Click Log In on the Interlinked website.
- Select your Google account (or it may be selected automatically if only one is available).
- You are immediately redirected to your Interlinked dashboard.
No additional consent screen appears on subsequent visits unless you have revoked Interlinked’s access in your Google account settings.
Session management
How sessions are maintained
Once you sign in, Interlinked maintains your session using secure authentication cookies. You stay logged in across page refreshes and browser restarts as long as your session has not expired.
Signing out
To sign out, click your avatar or profile icon in the top-right corner of the Interlinked panel and select Log out. This clears your session and redirects you to the sign-in page.
Tip
Signing out of Interlinked does not sign you out of Google. Your Google session remains active in your browser for other Google services.
Session expiration
If your session expires due to inactivity, you will be redirected to the sign-in page the next time you try to access the panel. Simply click Log In and select your Google account to resume where you left off. Your data, configurations, and conversations are all preserved — nothing is lost when a session expires.
Switching Google accounts
If you need to use a different Google account with Interlinked:
- Sign out of the Interlinked panel.
- On the sign-in page, click Sign in with Google.
- When Google shows the account selection screen, choose a different account or click Use another account to enter credentials for an account that is not listed.
Important
Each Google account is linked to its own Interlinked workspace. If you sign in with a different Google account, you will access a different workspace with its own AI agent configuration, products, and conversations. Workspaces are not shared between Google accounts.
Google Workspace and corporate accounts
Interlinked fully supports Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts. If your business uses Google Workspace, you can sign in with your corporate email address just like any other Google account.
However, some organizations restrict which third-party applications their users can authorize. If you see a message saying that Interlinked is not approved by your organization, contact your Google Workspace administrator and ask them to allow the Interlinked application.
Troubleshooting
I see “Access Denied” after selecting my Google account
This usually means your Google Workspace administrator has restricted third-party app access. Ask your IT administrator to approve Interlinked in the Google Admin Console under Security > API Controls > App access control.
My session keeps expiring too quickly
Make sure your browser is not set to clear cookies on exit. Interlinked uses authentication cookies to maintain your session, and clearing them forces a new sign-in on every visit.
I accidentally used the wrong Google account
Sign out of the Interlinked panel and sign in again with the correct Google account. Each Google account maps to a separate workspace, so switching accounts simply switches workspaces.
What to do next
If you have just created your account and signed in for the first time, the onboarding wizard should already be open. Continue to Open the onboarding wizard to learn what to expect.
