Paid Appointment workflow

Learn how the Paid Appointment workflow works in Interlinked — a service workflow where the AI collects a deposit payment before booking an appointment on Google Calendar.

When to use this workflow

Choose Paid Appointment when you want to secure a deposit before confirming a booking, but without a qualification phase. This is ideal for services with high demand or no-show risk — beauty treatments, medical consultations, personal training sessions, or property viewings where a deposit guarantees commitment.

How the AI handles conversations

  1. Greet the customer and help them explore your services.
  2. Check your calendar — The AI queries Google Calendar for available time slots.
  3. Present available slots — Times are shown in 30-minute increments.
  4. Customer selects a time — The AI confirms the selected slot.
  5. Collect the deposit — The AI shares your bank account details and asks the customer to send a transfer receipt.
  6. Book the appointment — Only after the deposit is confirmed does the AI create the Google Calendar event.

Important

The appointment is not booked until payment is received. If a customer selects a time slot but does not pay, the slot remains available for other customers. This prevents ghost bookings.
