Open the onboarding wizard
Learn where to open Interlinked onboarding, what the guided setup covers, and how to continue a saved agent draft.
Open onboarding
After signing in, open the panel’s onboarding experience when you are setting up the first agent for the workspace. If the panel has already moved you to the dashboard, open My Agents under AI & Automation and create an agent from there; the guided setup uses the same current agent-creation flow.
The wizard is a guided page, not a technical setup screen. It asks for the business and customer-journey information needed to create a useful draft agent.

What the wizard covers
The current wizard groups setup into these chapters:
- Personalize — describe the business role, market, and expected demand.
- Workspace — enter the business and agent identity.
- Agent’s job — choose the customer journey the agent should handle.
- Operations — configure workflow-specific information such as locations, payment, calendar, or qualification.
- AI model — choose an available model for the agent.
- Voice — set tone, response style, and greeting.
- Connect and collaborate — add a product or service catalog, connect channels, and invite teammates when available.
- Review — check the setup before creating the draft agent.
The exact steps change with the selected workflow. Pickup needs a location, appointments need calendar information, and paid journeys need a ready payment method.
Move through the wizard
- Select Continue to save the current step and move forward.
- Select Back to revisit the previous step or screen.
- Use Skip for now only when the panel marks the catalog or service work as optional.
- Use the outline on large screens, or the step selector at the top on smaller screens, to return to completed steps that the panel makes available.
The header displays Progress saved or Saving…. If an error appears, select Try again and confirm that the step is saved before continuing.
Draft behavior
The wizard saves setup as a draft. The final onboarding action is Create draft agent; it creates an agent that is off and is not yet customer-facing. It does not replace the separate publish and activation steps.
Catalog imports are also reviewed in the wizard and Products area. A file that has only been staged is not the same as a confirmed catalog. See Review and confirm a product import.
Leave and return later
You can close the wizard after the progress message confirms that your work is saved. Return to the same guided setup when you are ready. After a draft agent has been created, open it from My Agents and use Guided configuration instead of starting a second onboarding flow.
Continue after the wizard
When the draft agent opens, review its readiness card. Complete missing requirements, publish the configuration, and use Validate and launch only when you want the agent to respond on its assigned customer channel. See Review agent readiness.
